Comments	Located in the Public Safety Building, this is the busiest court in the county, although that isn't saying a lot in Montgomery County. Court is actually at 1 Guy Park Avenue Ext., but that doesn't map right on Google.
About the area	A small city on the Mohawk River, next to the NYS thruway. Amsterdam struggles like many upstate cities due to economic decline. Also has a particularly high Latino population.
Hours of Operation	Generally open 9-5 Monday to Friday. Summer hours might vary.
Judges	Judge Howard Aison and Judge Paul Wollman - Aison seems to handle most of the caseload. He's not always cheerful. Wollman is a warm fellow.
Prosecutors	Montgomery District Attorney - usually ADA John Clo. Most tickets are prosecuted by the troopers.
Type Of Cases	DWI and drug violations and a surprising amount of urban crime for such a small city. Not that many traffic cases as the Thruway tickets seem to get written for the Town of Florida.
