For those interested in radio controlled model aircraft and those who just like to see these objects take flight; the place to be is the South Central Missouri Radio Control Air Park. Here for the enthusiasts use there is a 350 foot by 24 foot rolled chat runway with 100 foot grass over run area on each end, a grassed 550 foot by 30 foot landing area, model work and starting tables, a transmitter frequency pin and board, safety fence and picnic tables with shade umbrellas. those of you want exciting maneuvers as practiced by these model aircraft owners should plan on being at the park on Sunday the weekend following Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and a date announced for September of each year to see the special events held on those days..
