Mobile’s Civic Center, located in downtown Mobile, houses three facilities under one roof in its over 400,000 square-foot building; an arena, a theater and an exposition hall. The venue is host to conventions, trade shows, performing arts and sports icluding rock concerts, grand opera, ballet and Broadway musicals. The National African-American Archives and Museum collects and preserves African-American history of those who have made significant contributions to the progress of African-Americans. It is located in a building listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
