Arkadelphia District Court

Arkadelphia has a magnificent recreational complex in Feaster Park. This area of close to 80 acres has picnic areas, a playground, outdoor basketball courts, softball fields and a pavilion. It also the site of the city’s Aquatic park and recreation center. The Aquatic park is loaded with things to enjoy such as the 25-meter swimming area, diving area, drop slide, open-flume water slide, umbrella style water fountain, the shaded bench area in zero depth entry, kids frog slide, floating play pieces, arching sprays, grassy areas for sunbathing, concessions, shaded picnic areas and drop buckets. The Recreation center’s facilities include a multifunction, a full basketball and volleyball court, an indoor walking track and fitness equipment room. For those who like to get their exercise and fresh air together, there is the Feaster trail which runs through the length of the city. This asphalt paved trail is suitable for walking, jogging, rollerblading or biking. The trail connects the Baptist Medical Center with
Henderson State university, Ouachita Baptist university, an Overlook of the Ouachita River, the Recreation center, the Aquatic park and Feaster park passing through a wooded area and a wildlife habitat.

Arkadelphia Feaster Trail is also a great asset of the city; it is a paved and lighted trail for use by joggers, walkers, bikers, and roller bladers that spans the length of the city.
