To remember Malvern’s history as a center of the brickmaking industry, which led to it being known as the “Brick Capital of the World”, the city holds its annual Brickfest celebration towards the end of June. In addition to the live stage entertainment, which everyone looks forward to, there are car, truck and motorcycle shows, baby contest, arts and crafts vendors and the annual Baby Back Rib cook-off. So you don’t forget about bricks, there’s the Brick Car derby, Best Dressed Brick and the Brick toss.
