The longest river of the west, 90 miles long San Miguel River brings around several natural wonders in this area. The Bridal Veil Falls is also a product of this river. The oldest Spanish Trail, Santa Fe, touches Telluride before heading out into California. Some of the best scenic tours in this area are the San Juan Skyway and the Unaweep Scenic Byway. An interesting sightseeing option is to visit the Telluride and the Mountain Village. They are both connected by a gondola.
