About the area
The city of New Haven was named for New Haven, Connecticut. It is an agricultural community and also has the nation’s 6th largest steel center. the Maumee River is here. A lock from the former Erie Canal was unearthed during construction of I469 and is housed in a museum. . US 24 and 30 (Lincoln Highway) also serve this city. There is an Electronic Citation and Warning System (eCWS) in use. It produces tickets electronically for violators and transmits to a central repository and then it is sent to the court for filing.
