Visitors to this city will be impressed by its natural beauty and the friendliness of its residents. Civil War buffs might want to be on hand for the city’s Civil War Historical Reenactment in June 7-9, 2013 at the Waukon City park. Some of the events which take place at this reenactment are demonstrations of military camp life, two battle reenactments, a period fashion show and an evening with President Grant at the Main Feature theatre.
