There are plenty of places around Oskaloosa to attract people to the outdoor life. Hunters will find game in the rolling wood hills around the town. Perry Lake, located about 9 miles West of town, has facilities for camping, fishing, and boating. The lake is populated by a variety of fish such as Bullhead, Crappie, Walleye, Sturgeon, Lake Trout and Striped Bass. So if you are in the area grab your fishing gear and head out to the lake.
