To see a fine collection of railroad memorabilia visit the Iron Horse Museum. The museum is located in a replica of a Missouri, Kansas & Texas railroad line depot, circa 1900. A locomotive which ran on this railroad and a caboose are located on the grounds of the museum. The Carnegie Arts Center is housed in the former Carnegie Library. This building which is on the National Historic Register is home to the Parsons Arts and Humanities Council which annually presents its Autumn Art Affair exhibit and sponsors the Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People.
