If you visit this city on the last Saturday of April you will be able to take part in the annual Safari Days festival at various sites throughout the town. There is a giant slide and petting zoo for the kids. In addition to the business vendors showcasing their merchandise and services there is a a health fair sponsored by Neosho Memorial Regional Medical center. Be sure to stay around for the annual Safari Film Festival which is a major event of Safari Days.
