The city has a downtown area that is quite accessible and its not unusual to find a farmer’s market being held sometime during the year. The Annual Art Fair, sponsored by the Hutchinson Art association is held in May in the downtown area. The Hutchinson Recreation Commission operates five great facilities; the Dillon Nature Center, a 100 acre wild arboretum; the Elmdale Community Center with its wellness center and 50 plus center; the Keller Liesure Arts center; Salt City Splash acquatic center and the Tennis complex.
