Don’t expect much in the way of entertainment in this town; you would go to Wichitra for that. It’s just a nice little town of close to 1000 people and there is the city park, ball fields and swimming pool for relaxation. When political turmoil was wide spread in Germany, many Germans immigrated to the United States and by the year 1900 many had settled in this area.
