St. John District Court

Nearby Quivira National Wildlife Refuge is an area covering over 22,000 acres with Over 300 species of birds, including waterfowl, shorebirds, and songbirds living there or passing through. Canada geese, ducks, sandhill cranes, shorebirds, endangered whooping cranes, golden and bald eagles, American white pelicans, gulls and other birds appear here as they use the park for a staging area or spend the winter. There are approximately 8,000 acres of designated hunting areas on the refuge.
