There is an ancient Bridge which extends from Louisa to Fort Gay in West Virginia. It is an architectural masterpiece and a geographical oddity. The Big Sandy River beneath did not make it easy for the builders, and yet the masterpiece was constructed, the way it was. One has to walk this bridge to know what I am talking about. Culturally the city is still a masterpiece. In every second week of September, for three consecutive days, the city hosts a arts and crafts exposure. This is the best place to taste the southeastern cuisine of United States of America!
