About the area
Natchez is on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The city is the site of the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage when visitors have an opportunity to visit all 32 of the city’s antebellum homes. To add a Southern flavor to this event the homes are hosted by Southern belles in hoop skirts and other period dress. This event takes place over five weeks and includes theater performances, special presentations and live music.
