Two venues in town provide facilities for community entertainment and recreation. The Civic Auditorium is equipped with close to 600 seats and a stage suitable for performances. Water Valley Community Band and Ballet School stage performances here and the center is the site of such events as the annual Watermelon Pageant and the Town & Country Garden Club Music Festival. The Crawford Sports Complex covers over 36 acres.
With tennis courts, fields for baseball, softball, soccer, and football and an illuminated quarter-mile track; this facility can handle just about any sport.
