Washington Municipal Court

Washington lies on the Missouri river. It has many wonderful municipal parks. These are Bernie E. Hillermann, Burger, James W. Rennick Riverfront, Krog Memorial, Lafayette Plaza, Jerry J. Jasper Lakeview, McLaughlin Field, Optimist, Riverview, Lions, Phoenix and Rotary Riverfront trail. The largest of these, Bernie E. Hillermann park, at over 95 acres has a softball field, a lighted arena grandstand area, administration building, a large open swine pavilion, soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, the Washington Fairgrounds, a ten acre lake, a gazebo, shelter houses, a lighted pavilion, playground areas, picnic tables, a lighted outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball court and walking trails. The Agnes Nolting Aquatic complex is equipped with an Olympic size stainless steel pool with a diving well, a leisure pool with slides, water play areas and a lazy river.
