Visitors to this town have an opportunity to see some beautiful examples of Victorian homes and the site of the Civil War Battle of Marshall. If you are visiting in the Summer, be sure to drop down to town square
to see and here the Marshall Municipal Band perform some rousing musical numbers. Marshall is home to
Missouri Valley college, an institution founded around 1889, which awards Bachelor’s degree in over 40 majors and the Master of Arts in Community Counseling. The college fields a rodeo team and team members are are recognized as dedicated collegiate athletes.
