Delanco Township is a tiny riverfront town that is bordered by the Delaware River and the Rancocas Creek and hence the name. It was originally called Del-Ranco, which then got shortened to Delanco. A light rail passenger service that connects several water-front communities passes through the township. The stop in this township is called \’Delanco station\’. An all-purpose park called Pennington Park was opened in 2006 in the township and is located on Creek Road.
