About the area
Kingwood Township is yet another township that lies adjacent to the NJ-Penn border. Baptistown lies next to Kingwood. The township is sparsely populated with only 3800 people in nearly 40 square miles. Old Stone Meeting House built somewhere around 1750 is a popular tourist destination. It sits at the intersection of Rt 519 and OId Summit Road. Routes 12, 29, 513 and 513 traverse the township.
