Delhi is the county seat of Delaware County, but remains a quiet and pleasant town. The State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi opened in 1913 as an agricultural school. Every year more and more students come to Delhi to get a higher education. Students can study most subjects now and many become teachers. Also, they take back information to family farms in the area. This helps to boost the economy and keep the family farm running.
