Alabama is a very rural town located between Buffalo and Rochester, NY. A section of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, home to Seneca Indians, is located on the west side of Alabama. This town is in the north west corner of the county, just south of Orlenes County. The Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, the largest in the state, is found here.
