Jefferson County Court

Watertown, situated in Jefferson County is located 30 miles south of Canada and 70 miles north of Syracuse. The city of Watertown is a very small city with hardly any traffic bottlenecks; it is about an hour from Kingston Ontario.
Being situated in proximity to Black River and Lake Ontario it is an ideal location for aquatic activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming. Also Adirondack mountains and the tug hill plateau make it an perfect place for hiking, camping and plenty of winter sports.
Watertown has been serving as a Jefferson county seat, and is the commercial and governmental center of the North Country region.
