About the area
Royalton is in the southeastern corner of Niagara county. Three NYS highways (routes 31, 77 and 93) pass through the town. No one now knows how Royalton came by the name. Relatively small and quiet town. East of Lockport and contains the Tonawanda State Wildlife Management Area.
