About the area
The Town of Parish is situated along Interstate 81 between Syracuse and Canada. It is located in the heart of the Tug Hill Plateau. The Town is very rural. Lumbering and wood products has been the primary industry throughout the history of the town. Today, outdoor recreation is is a big draw, particularly snowmobilers because this area has many trails and it gets a lot of snow.
