Since the early 20th century the population has not increased much, today around 350 people live in this peaceful village founded back in the 1800’s, located between the counties of Franklin and Pickaway. A couple of years before the community’s founding, this territory welcomed the “Big Darby Post Office” which represented a remarkable progress for the people of Harrisburg.
