The Mentor Marsh Nature Center is one of a kind preservation center and is part of the largest marsh on Lake Erie. Home to a wide variety of animals, plants and birds, there are many trails and walkways to experience this in Mentor. Mentor also features America;s largest gallery which showcases more than 30,000 paintings. Visit the Garfield National Historic Site, the home of President Garfield which is now converted into a museum. It showcases different aspects of President James Garfield’s life. The Mentor Lagoon and Marina has plenty of things to offer in terms of outdoor fun, like biking trails, hiking, electric cars and much more. The last but not the least don’t miss the Railroad museum which is a toy train museum.
