Mill Creek park has a skatepark as well as a covered picnic shelter, horseshoe pits, a softball field and a barbecue stand. Small kids are not left out either; with a great play structure available to them. Porter Boone Park has picnic tables, barbecue stands, a concrete bandstand and benches , a multi-purpose court which can be used for basketball or tennis) and a pedestrian walking trail and is the site of the Aumsville Corn Festival. The festival is held each August and begins with a parade in which residents compete for awards to groups, floats and displays. You are sure to find a few ears of corn to chomp on here.
