Sorosis Park a municipal park in The Dalles which covers an area of over 40 acres. THe park offers many recreational opportunties such as picnic tables,barbeque pits, softball fields, tennis courts, a playground, and a running trail. There are large stands of Ponderosa Pines in the park adding to its natural beauty. The Northwest Cherry festival is held here each year during the fourth week of April to celebrate the appearance of the Cherry blossoms..
