If you don’t like Garlic but Onions are your thing be sure to visit the Annual Great Onion Festival held every October in Sherwood. This event pays tribute to the original Sherwood onion farmers and traditionally celebrates the end of the onion harvest. This indoor event attracts many hungry people. June. There are also Military, Law enforcement and NASCAR vehicles displayed. Music is also a part of this event as well as a food court opens and vendor booths.
