Sagertown borough is a proud daughter of Crawford County which was named after Daniel Saeger, a settler who brought many Hessian immigrants to the area. With 1.5 square miles of territory elevated approximately 1130 feet above sea level and proudly surrounded by the municipalities of Venango, Woodcock, Meadville, Fredericksburg, and Blooming Valley. If you come to this land, we recommend you to visit the Saegertown Historical Society Museum and try to enjoy a fresh coffee at any of the local shops.
