Darby District Court

During the middle 17th century, this community welcomed its first settlers coming mostly from Ireland, Germany, and Italy. It was not till about 200 years later when the incorporation process took place and the people from Darby expressed their love towards Delaware County. Neighbor of Colwyn and Yeadon, this territory is home of the Park Lane Elementary, Walnut Street Elementary, Blessed Virgin Mary, and Penn Wood West Junior High School.
