Located in the Northeastern portion of Pennsylvania, this community has served the County of Luzerne as an outstanding and very representative county seat for several years managed and administrated by the Mayor and the City Council which have coordinated efforts to achieve a balanced municipality of just 7 square miles of territory connected with the surrounding communities by the Interstate 81.
