Monroe County Court
**Monroe PA County Court – 7th & Monroe Streets
Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360
Difference races and a wide variety of traditions have been combined under the blue sky of Monroe County, founded back in the 1830s and served by Stroudsburg as its county seat. Republican and Democratic parties have found balance in a warm and peaceful community sharing frontiers with Wayne, Pike, Luzerne, Carbon, Northampton, and Lawckawanna Counties in Pennsylvania State. The President James Monroe was honored by the people of this land when they named their territory after his last name back in the 19th century. Some of the communities in Monroe County are Cresco, East Stroudsburg, Canadensis, and Delaware Water Gap. Faith is one of the most relevant values for the people of this territory, which is the home of the Holy Trinity, Saint Lukes, Effort, and Our Lady of Victory Churches. If you happen to be around Monroe, visit the State Game Lands Park, Big Pocono State Park, and make some time for Gouldsboro State Park as well.
