Lake Murray is very popular for picnics and it connects downside to the Saluda River. The Congaree National Park serves as a natural recreation spot for many families. Camping is fun here. The riverbanks side is just not famous for the water sports and camping zones but also arts, entertainment and music. It is easy to get here by taking the I-26, I-77, I-126 or I-20 pass through Columbia along with other major important State Routes.
