Bosque District Court

This former homeland of Tonkawa, Waco, and Tawakoni Indians tribes is full of kind whispers of courageous men and women who interacted peacefully with the rivers, mountains, and hills within this territory; establishing an unbreakable bond with Mother nature. Meridian is the county seat of Bosque County, even when Clifton is the most important commercial center for this territory named or the Bosque River. Somervell, Hill, Johnson, McLennan, Coryell, Erath, and Hamilton Counties are the closest neighbors to “Woods” County. Some of the communities in the Clifton Record newspaper land are Cranfills Gap, Iredell, Meridian, Morgan, and Valley Mills; all of them served by several school districts including Clifton, Kopperl, Morgan, and Walnut Springs Independent School Districts.
