The Gale Center of History and Culture have some wonderful permanent exhibits which include replicas of a school circa 1900, a home typical of the ones of the original settlers, a store reminiscent of two stores frequented by settlers in the 1930’s, a homestead plot and family garden and Grandma’s house. The River of Life, quilts, the Fullmer fighting family and the Post Office exhibits are typical of those that are displayed from time to time. The museum has a number of outdoor exhibits. They are a Dugout home, a granary relocated and rebuilt ion this site and farming machinery. The South Jordan Community center is a place where residents can gather together to socialize. The fitness and aquatics center is equipped with an aerobics room, cardio area, dance room, gymnasium, turf gym, party room, indoor track, weight room and large indoor swimming pool with lap lanes,a large slide, child play structure, deep end, lazy river and a separate wading pool.
