There are several venues in this city for the entertainment of residents and visitors. Peery’s Egyptian Theater is one of the historic treasures in this city with its terra cotta facade, interior designs reminiscent of ancient Egypt and its Wurlitzer pipe organ. The Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts is the scene of symphony, ballet and theater performances including some by the. Utah Musical Theater. The Gallery at the Station, with monthly art exhibits of local and regional artists, and the Myra Powell Gallery with a permanent art collection are located at the historic Union Station. The annual Foursite Film festival is held for several days giving filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their work. The screenings are available to the public where they can also meet the filmmakers and actors.
