There is a legend about how the city of Milan got its name. A common story says that once a surveyor asked a man whose land it was and he replied “My Land” and the surveyor heard it as Milan. Soon it became Milan. Another popular story is that it was named after the French city of Milan. No matter what the story is Milan is popular as a sight seeing attraction today.
