Besides the Dorothy Hart Community center, where town programs are held, the town has Alum Spring park, Dixon park, Hurkamp park, Maury playground, Motts Run Reservoir Recreation area, Old Mill park, Snowden Park playground, Snowden Baseball fields and W.L. Harris playground. These facilities provide picnic shelters, picnic tables, grills, play equipment, walking paths, athletic fields, an outdoor swimming pool, soccer fields, tennis courts and a reservoir for fishing, boating canoeing, hiking and picnicking. There is also the Motts Run Nature Center, a one room cabin with nature displays.
