In the Westmoreland County museum you can find Native American artifacts, geology and archaeology of local sites, a furniture collection and an extensive portrait and painting collection. On the grounds there is the Presidents’ Garden with busts of locally born presidents Madison, Monroe and Washington. Further adding to the cultural scene in Montross is the The Cultural Arts Enrichment center where the work of local artists is promoted by the display of their work in their galleries.
