No fancy building here; the County courthouse stated life as a hotel. The city has a very small population but they enjoy a relatively moderate median income. Asotin is the last city along the Snake River route to Hell’s Canyon, which is the deepest gorge on the American continent. People here enjoy a great outdoor life which also welcomes the visitor. Nobody can say they can’t catch their meal here. Asotin is surrounded by deer, elk and game birds. For the Isaak Walton’s there’s steelhead, sturgeon, catfish and bass fishing. If you like crusing the area there are plenty of venues for hiking, mountain biking and running.
