To provide for the recreational needs of its citizens New Cumberland has the C House community center which has a full-sized gymnasium for basketball leagues, skating parties and dances and a multi-purpose room. Additionally the city maintains Little League and Pony League baseball fields and a girl’s softball field. The city also has boat docks and a ramp on the Ohio river for recreational boating and emergency situations. For the gambling crowd there is Mountaineer Racing and Gaming Resort north of the city which has live and simulated horse racing as well as poker, slot machines and table games. The resort also has live performances by nationally known artists.
